CRISPR Nucleases
With an increasing need for precise and versatile gene editing tools, exploration of novel CRISPR-Cas nucleases is essential. For that, we have a dynamic platform of novel, identified, and characterized CRISPR-Cas nucleases.
Cas12l family
We have identified and characterized a unique family of Cas12l nucleases that have no sequence homology with other Cas12 proteins.
These nucleases are ~850 amino acids in size and recognize the CCY PAM sequence. With comparably high editing efficiency in mammalian cells, Cas12l nucleases are a flexible CRISPR solution for applications in the field of therapeutics.
Cas9 orthologs
Our diverse, highly flexible platform of over 80 of unique Cas9 orthologs offers great opportunities for the development of unique, market-ready end products. They also serve as a great basis for further development of novel, improved CRISPR-Cas tools.
